Growing up in San Diego, California where art and museums are abundant, my parents, artists themselves, provided me with all the skills and passion necessary to grow my talent and experience the vast mediums that I use. I often tagged along as a child when they attended college to paint and draw sometimes becoming the subject matter and the model. Any chance I could, I would inject myself into their work to learn and hone my skills. I have been very fortunate to grow up in such a talented household where every wall was adorned with beautiful works of art. Through the years my passion always came back to my pencil portraits, where a story can be told in every face, a soul behind their eyes that speaks to me and I hope to you as well.
